Delete your Kid Monitoring account
For the app Kid Monitoring - Phone Tracker on Google Play, by MONAPP CALABS LIMITED.
A Kid Monitoring account is a family’s: every phone in the family — the parents’ and the children’s — belongs to it. You can delete it, with everything recorded about every phone in it, in any of three ways:
- In the app, on a parent’s phone: Settings → My account → Delete account and data, then the account’s password.
- On this page, without the app: the account’s email address and password, below.
- By email, if you no longer know the password: write to helpdesk@kidmonitoring.com from the account’s email address and ask for it to be deleted. We delete it within one month and reply when it is done.
To remove only one phone and what is recorded about it, and leave the family as it is: on that phone, Settings → My account → Delete my data and leave; or, on a parent’s phone, Settings → Family → that phone → Remove from the family group, with the account’s password.
Delete the account here
This deletes the whole family account and the data of every phone in it, at once. It can’t be undone.
Forgot the password? Use Forgot your password? on the app’s Log in screen, or ask us by email, as in 3 above.
What is deleted
- The account: its email address, its password and the family’s invite codes.
- Every phone in the family: its name, role and profile photo; on a child’s phone, the parent’s statement and the child’s age.
- Locations: each phone’s current position and its live-location copy, today’s route, the location history, the places set and every arrival and departure.
- Screen time: the daily records, the list of installed apps, and every limit, schedule, app rule, web filter and speed alert setting.
- Everything else recorded: chores, check-ins, SOS alerts, the notification history, the phones’ reports of their battery, settings and permissions, and their parent-mode settings.
- Sign-ins: each phone’s sign-in for live location, deleted at once, or as soon as Google’s service can be reached.
Every phone in the family stops working with the app, and the family’s adults are told that the account was deleted.
What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records of a Premium subscription — Google Play’s purchase token, the order number, the product, its state and its dates. Kept while the subscription exists, and for 15 years after it ends, for our accounting and tax records. They identify you to nobody but Google. Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription: cancel it in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Records that limit sign-in attempts — a network address and a count — kept for no more than a few days; and our server’s logs, kept as our privacy policy (section 6) says.
Nothing else is kept. Deleting can’t be undone: a family set up again starts empty.
